What is loop recording?
Loop recording lets your Dash Cam continuously record by overwriting the oldest footage when the SD card is full.
This means you always capture new footage without having to manually delete old files.
How does loop recording work?
Example: A 32GB SD card can hold about 4 hours of Full HD video.
If you drive for 5 hours, the Dash Cam will overwrite the oldest 1 hour of footage, keeping the most recent 4 hours.
Why are video segments so short?
Your Dash cam records in short clips to:
-
Make loop recording more efficient
-
Make sharing and viewing clips easier
-
Avoid large, slow-to-manage video files
Why is loop recording important?
It ensures your Dash Cam always has space for new footage.
Protected files are safe for a while, but we recommend backing them up to another device or the cloud so you don’t lose important clips when the card fills up.
