What does the Parsing Metadata error mean?
This error message will occur if there was no GPS signal while the Dash Cam is recording, although this may also occur if other metadata has not been recorded.
Follow these steps to get things working again:
- Charge your Dash Cam indoors.
- Reinstall the Dash Cam in the car, ensuring it's plugged into the GPS mount and has a clear view of the sky (with no obstructions that may block GPS).
- Start your car as normal, wait until the GPS icon in the bottom right turns white.
- Reconnect your Dash Cam to MyNextbase Connect and update the Dash Cam firmware (if applicable).
Please note: The steps listed above will not affect any files that have already been recorded, please retest after recording new files.
